If a flying unit flies over an enemy unit so that it ends up between it's target unit and the unit's table edge , and manages to cause the target unit to flee , which direction does that unit flee ?

Hi Gabz,

Good question! The first hex of the flee move can be in any direction away from the enemy unit(s). Then subsequent hexes of the flee move should be parallel to or towards its own sides table edge. This often involves passing through and causing disruption to other friendly units or displacing friendly units in a domino effect. Displaced friendly units can be moved in any direction as long as they do not enter the 'zone of control' of an enemy unit.

Therefore, in the particular case of your victorious flyer, the fleeing unit will have to make a major detour in order to stay at least one hex away from your flyer during the flee move.
